How to Register for MDI

register-1Fill out and submit our online registration form. You should receive a confirmation email (let us know if you don’t). The registration deadline is May 1st.

register-2Send in a 50% deposit within ten days of completing your registration form. You can pay online or by mail.

register-3Complete four forms. Your registration is not final until we have received all four forms.

First, download three essential waivers: medical release, image authorization, and participant guidelines. Once you complete the waivers, you may scan them onto your computer and email them to mndi@umn.edu. Alternatively, you may mail completed waivers (see below for our mailing address).

Second, fill out the online medical information form.

register-4Be sure that your full payment is in to us by June 30th, 2018.

How to Pay

Within ten days of submitting your online registration form, you must return a 50% deposit. That means that we need half of your total payment. Below you’ll see what’s due as part of the 50% deposit for each camp option:

Residential Deposit:

$270

Commuter plus meals deposit:

$147.50

Commuters (bringing/buying own meals) deposit:

$92.50

If you register after May 1st, you may be unable to secure a spot at camp — and even if you do, you’ll have to pay a $30 late fee.

You may send the full amount in a single payment.

There are two ways to pay MDI:

1. Mail your payment. Checks must be made out to the Debate Access Initiative. You can send them to this address:

2. Pay online today! The link below accepts major credit or debit cards. A PayPal account is not needed to submit an online payment — just click the “pay with credit or debit card” option after you’re re-directed.

Note: Online payments incur a 2.9% + 30 cent fee. That fee is included in the options below.
